Hannah Forton

Hannah Forton, Gatekeeper Client Manager, has been with Golden Shovel since May of 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University with a double major in Communication and Music. Hannah also holds multiple HubSpot Academy certifications: HubSpot Marketing Software, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, and HubSpot Sales Software. Her past experiences include holding marketing and customer success positions at a home remodeling company, a software tech startup, and a lifestyle magazine. Her focus was on social media management, SEO, content marketing, and website design. In addition, Hannah was also accepted into the Orr Fellowship program, an entrepreneurial group of post-grads who work at a startup company in Indianapolis and receive mentorship from leaders in the technology industry.

Hannah’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing and providing marketing services to Golden Shovel clients. As their main point of contact, she meets with clients monthly to ensure that they are continuously happy with their services and achieving their goals. Hannah also reviews clients’ website analytics to share areas of opportunity and suggest updates.

Hannah is eager to see the impact that her clients will have on their communities and how that impact will grow over time as they attract more residents and set the groundwork for future growth. She loves supporting local businesses and cares about the opportunities that are available to individuals and families living in their communities.

Hannah is currently located in Macomb, Michigan. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors and can be found hiking, bike riding, going for walks on nature trails, or relaxing in her hammock. She also enjoys singing, playing the piano, and learning a new song on her ukulele or guitar. In the evenings, you may catch Hannah performing at an open mic night!
